The PERRIN Transmission Support reduces drivetrain movements under hard acceleration, deceleration and cornering,This feature delivers more power to the wheels, for improved, precise launches during drag or autocross races where minimal drivetrain slippage is desired.
Crafted from CNC 6061-T6 aluminum, PERRIN transmission supports offer long-term durability and zero squeaking, unlike urethane-made options. The factory’s "T" shaped interlocking support lacks snugness, enabling the transmission to move up to 0.5" in all directions. Our transmission support is larger and eliminates these gaps, cutting the movement to a maximum of 0.1". This ensures the back end of the transmission is held in place during extreme driving and gives the driver a positive shift feel.
The PERRIN transmission support will stiffen your stock transmission support which will add some NVH (noise, vibration, harshness). For most people this is pleasing, feeling a solid connection between the transmission and chassis, versus having that sloppy disconnected feel.
