Tein's Street Basis dampers for Subaru WRX STI have been enhanced with improved internal components and external coatings to deliver superior durability and performance. Crafted in Japan with rigorous quality control, these entry-level coilovers boast ride-height adjustment but not adjustable damping. Valved for street use, Street Basis coilovers are cost-effective and balanced compared to buying shocks and springs or sleeve-type coilovers. Featuring a complete twin-tube design, they offer more stroke than pickup springs and shocks which significantly extends shock life and stops the "bottoming out" seen with standard lowering springs. Additionally, this kit can be rebuilt for long-term use with most types of street driving.
