ARP Nissan RWD SR20DET Head Stud Kit

ARP utilizes 8740 alloy of superior grade, hardened to 200,000 p.s.i. for most thorough heat penetration. This process exceeds the standard of many manufacturers who simply toss parts into a container, leading to inferior results. Post heat treatment, each stud is centreless-ground for maximal perpendicularity. Additional measures include thread rolling, which imparts 1000% higher fatigue resistance than studs threaded pre-heat treat (an all-too-prevalent industry practice). This more expensive procedure involves painstaking tooling, but yields significant dividends as a result.
