The factory throttle body hose is very prone to failure which is due to either cracking or coming apart from expansion which causes a boost leak, making your turbocharger work harder to reach certain boost levels. The Torque Solutions example is made using 4-ply silicone fibers that have been street and track torture tested, and it has smooth interior walls that will limit turbulence under acceleration.
