The PERRIN Oil Cooler Kit offers several benefits to enhance engine performance and longevity, particularly under racing conditions. Here's a summary of its key features and advantages:

  1. Temperature Regulation: Racing conditions can lead to excessive engine oil temperatures, which negatively impact engine performance and lubrication. The PERRIN Oil Cooler Kit helps maintain oil temperatures within an optimal range, thus preserving engine performance and extending engine life.

  2. Heat Exchanger Design: The kit employs a bar and plate core design for efficient heat dissipation without causing pressure build-up. The inclusion of in-line turbulators ensures that the cooling fluid is gently stirred, allowing maximum contact with the cooler's internal surface while minimizing pressure loss.

  3. Integrated Thermostat: The PERRIN Filter Adapter incorporates an integrated 85°C (185°F) thermostat. This means that the oil reaches the ideal operating temperature of 85°C before being directed to the oil cooler. Operating with the right temperature ensures optimal oil viscosity and lubrication.

  4. Mounting Brackets: Custom CNC-machined 6061 T6 aluminum brackets are included with the oil cooler kit. These brackets enable direct mounting of the oil cooler core to existing holes in your vehicle's OEM core support. This integration ensures a sleek appearance while maintaining a secure fit.

  5. Preassembled Hoses: The kit features lightweight Aeroquip brand -10 hoses that are rated for 250psi and can withstand continuous temperatures of up to 300°F. These hoses are pre-assembled and wrapped with industrial-grade Pyrojacket, which can endure temperatures of up to 500°F (260°C) and brief exposures of up to 2000°F (1090°C) for 15-20 minutes.
